Reduce Size of Image Without Affecting Quality (Easiest Way)...

Filling Up Some Online Application Form & Got Stuck How To Upload Image Below 100KB (Or Something Like That). Well, you have to Reduce the Image Size.

Now If Someone don't know right method to do it, probably s/he will end up with destroying the Image.
There are bunch of software are available online to reduce image size but today I'm going to show you easiest way to reduce the size of an Image.

Fortunately It Takes Maximum Two Steps To Reduce Size of a Image, Which are As Follows-

Step 1. Reduce Pixels (From Camera Settings) of Your Camera before Capturing Image (1.2MP would be fine).
  
Basically reducing pixels doesn't affect quality(only a little bit) of image, it only affects it's zooming ability.
As in application form there is no need of zooming, so don't worry about that.

Below are two Images Captured with Same Camera-
                     
         (Camera 8MP                          (Camera 1.2MP
          Size 1.35MB)                             Size 180KB)

Keep Reducing Pixels Until You get Required Size.


Can't Reduce Further Proceed to 2nd Step.

Step 2. This Step Requires MS Paint.

              Hit 'Ctrl+S'

                                                      (Size 75KB)

Remove WAN Miniports Easy Way... [Updated 3rd Sep]

A wide area network mini port (WAN mini port) is a 

driver that permits alternative connection methods in Windows XP and later version of Windows such as point-to-point protocol over Ethernet (PPoE) and wireless networking making WAN setup possible.

Some times it override the WiFi driver. In that case WiFi stops working until WAN Miniports are removed or disabled.


Note: Hey guys it seems Microsoft has fixed this issue in KB3194496 update. So just update your Windows....if problem remains proceed as follows.

Follow Below Steps to Get Rid of WAN Miniports:-

Step 1. Go To Device Manager> Network Adapters 

    WAN Miniports should be there if not, go to view, select 'Show Hidden Devices'

Step 2. Now you got WAN Miniports, DISABLE them.

Step 3. Right Click on Windows Start Menu Icon, Select 'RUN' Type "regedit" click Enter.

Step 4. Go To HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> SYSTEM> CurrentControlSet>Control> Class>{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

Step 5. Right Click Select Export and Save it somewhere such that if something went wrong.

Step 6. Under {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} 

Select each Folder (1) & Notice 'DriverDesc' (2) If Its Data Contain 'WAN Miniport(****)' or 'ms_****miniport' (3) DELETE it

Step 7. Restart PC in 'Safe Mode with Networks'.

Step 8. Open Device Manager & UNINSTALL all WAN Miniports.

Step 9. Restart PC. Congratulation YOU MADE IT...!!!


If WAN Miniports reappeared do as follows:-

• Go To 'RUN'. Type "services.msc".
• Locate 'Remote Access Connection Manager'                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               
  
• Right Click on it & make it Stop.
• Again Right Click on it, select properties & Disable it.
• Do the same with 'Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol Service'

3. Install AdBlocker on Your Browser

         Have not yet, DO this right now. It removes advertisement, block irritating popups & reduce Data consumption (By not showing ads)

4. Update Drivers

    Outdated drivers can reduce the performance of your PC, update them.

      If You're The Guy Who do not Roaming Around Internet Visiting Harmful Websites, Downloading Unknown Software & only use your PC for Gaming, Movie, Music etc. Then MS Windows defender is enough for you.

If you have purchased an Antivirus that is good but if you have an outdated and free Antivirus believe me it will slow down your PC & Probably windows defender would work better.

KB/s OR Kbps...

I have seen many people considering KB/s & Kbps same thing...
Well it's NOT...
So what is the difference,
Basically, Kbps stand for Kilo Bit per Sec. (generally operators show their promised speed in Kbps)
          and KB/s stand for Kilo Byte per Sec. (generally browser and download manager show speed in KB/s)
You see that it's only bit and byte.


Now if you recall you should have learnt that 
                          1 Byte = 8Bit

It means if an operator promised you to give upto 512Kbps (Looks BIG) speed your download manager give you speed upto 64KB/s

Note:Same applies to MB/s & Mbps
